Great course
Great shorter course fun to play. Layout is a little confusing on certain holes so be careful. Example, the 8th hole crosses in front of 9th tee box, we had no clue and walked in front of a group teeing off looking for a ball. Same happened on 17th green, the 18th tee box is right there. Would definitely come back as staff was very nice and so were other golfers, great experience.
Friendly well presented course
Played the course for the first time in May. The pro was really helpful in the shop giving us a good description of the course lay out. The greens were in really good condition, and the layout of the course was great with some interesting memorable holes. Look forward to coming back and playing it again.
Good track, will be back
Great value course close to the city. Played it twice now, will probably play again. Love the par 3's here, need to start making my putts though!
Great value, good course
Greens were just aerated, which may explain the lack of traffic on the course. Or maybe it was my 3pm weekday tee time. Anyway, course was in fine shape and I still found the greens quite manageable. Pace was excellent, played in just under 3 hours but wasn’t rushed. Hope I get the opportunity to play the course again soon.
Great course
Played here a few times now and it never disappoints. Friendly staff and the course especially the greens are always in fantastic condition. Only disappointing thing is no par 5’s but still a great course to play and it is an easy walking course. Will be back a few more times and will definitely tell friends about it.
Liberton GC
It was our second round of the day on a beautiful, dry, sunny afternoon. The course was very busy but the patrons and the staff were extremely courteous and friendly. The greens were of a good standard and well prepared despite a prolonged and dry spell of weather in the East coast of Scotland. Overall a lovely but tight parkland course - with some interesting holes in a relatively compact piece of land.
Liberton Golf Course
Interesting parkland course with some challenging holes. Like all courses this summer both the fairways and greens are fast!
Great Round
Really enjoyed this challenging course- greens well irrigated and in great condition but navigating to next tees not always easy - just needs a few signs please! Also a few markers for greens when you are playing blind approaches would be helpful.
Staff really helpful and friendly - definitely play this again but maybe when fairways are a bit softer as like playing off concrete at the moment.
Super Friendly
Came for a round after work, the course was hard but it’s really not rained in weeks. They had watered the greens so they were rolling great and a lot greener that the rest of the course. One of the friendliest welcomes I have had as a visitor. Well worth a. Visit.
Immaculate greens
Best greens I've played on in a while. Lovely little course. Not long but plenty trees and hazards that you have to be sensible on clubs from the tees. Great staff and being able to order food at 6 to collect on the way past the kitchen to 8 was an added bonus. The burger and chips was superb. Definitely be back. Had to nip off after the golf but the little beer garden at the back looked very inviting in the sun.
Liberton GC
Not a long course so don’t need to be a big hitter. No Par 5’s
Course is in great shape - greens excellent.
2 visitors ahead of us were slower than a week in the jail but we didn’t let that spoil our round.
Jolly Boys Outing
I've played before, but this time I took 3 "NEW" golfers and it was ideal, not to long, perfect for the 4 of us. It was in good condition, I played there in April, what difference with some warmth, quite impressed
Liberton GC
Course in good condition and greens were very good and had a good day with the weather
Great course
Staff member was really helpful and friendly great customer service. Course was superb very well maintained. Fairways and greens were great. P.s when you get to the 6th tee off there’s a number you can phone for food and will be ready for you at the 8th and the food is really Good 5 stars on all fronts. Will definitely be back soon.
