Pitlochry Golf Club
About
A course once described as the place where 'Golf, beauty and the social life, go hand in hand' . In the warm summer months when the skies are clear it has some of the most uplifting views to be found anywhere in the world. Although not one of this fair country's longest courses, if a golfer achieves a score under par here, he or she will have played exceptionally well. With the winding fairways climbing up the hillside, across the gorges and valleys, before leading back down to the club house and finishing over the meandering burn, you will know that you have played over a good golfing challenge.

Lovely course and views
Thoroughly enjoyed the course unfortunately didn't do it any justice though, friendly staff and lovely meal.will definitely play it again.
Beautiful course
So enjoyed it , fantastic scenery . Will definitely be back !
Lovely Course with excellent views
My wife and I enjoyed a lovely afternoon playing this course. The only negative was the greens were in poor condition for this quality of course. We spoke to the pro about this and he explained about the early season ice damage they experienced. The views are fantastic and although it is quite short there are plenty of challenging holes and a lot of bunkers.
Pitlochry
Spectacular views with some great holes , a nice welcome on arrival but sadly the greens were truly awful, this long term could be damaging for this golf club .
A great course to play - every hole is different, the views are wonderful. The greens have suffered from the recent bad weather but still a very enjoyable round.
Pitlochry the return
As I’ve only been playing four years and having played the course when I first started I was keen to find out how I would handle the course. Pleased to say after a poor start I shot 88 which for a 23 handicapper I was pleased with. As regards the course itself it is one of the most pleasing courses on the eye with some stunning views, however with my gammy hip it’s hard work with the hills, next time a buggy for me. If you find yourself in the area which is a great place to holiday give the course a try it worth the money.
Friday tour at pitlochry
Amazing course in some of the best scenery imaginable. Loved it. The odd green a wee bit sandy but thats totally understandable this time of year. Highly recommend
Superb course
Very well maintained course with spectacular views, thoroughly enjoyed playing the course and would definitely recommend it.
However the pro in the shop was not welcoming at all! Horrible attitude, he may well be knowledgeable with golf but certainly is not with social interaction.
Pitlochry Golf Course
Fantastic layout, tough opening few holes up hill, amazing scenery.
Great condition given the wet weather the area experienced.
Pitlochry Golf Course
Very enjoyable course and easy to follow for first time playing it.
Due to the continual heavy rain for the week prior to us playing there were a couple of wet fairways and run off areas on the course where we have to lift the ball, however the majority of the course was in great condition for the time of year and greens were exceptional.
Good course for outing/societies - drive well and be rewarded. We will definitely be returning.
Excellent as always
Absolutely brilliant as always - definitely one of the best value for money courses in Scotland, couple of fairways struggling but not enough to impact the experience. Excellent clubhouse service and pro-shop, highly recommended
Pitlochry in Autumn
A wet day at Pitlochry but nonetheless the course looked brilliant in stunning autumn colours. Greens rolling very well given the amount of rain.
Warm welcome in the pro shop and great facilities.
Stunning Views
Played last week after a lot of rain course was in excellent condition, a joy to play great views and some great elevated tee positions, would definitely play again, the only gripe was the price of the buggy £27 , apart from that a 10/10 experience.
Well Worth It
First time playing and will definitely be back again. Course was in great condition. Greens really good and course setup well. It was busy and there were a couple of 4-balls in front of us (3-ball) but the pace of play was fine, took us around 4 hours. Course was hilly but not too strenuous. A most enjoyable day and the views and scenery alone are worth it.
Great wee course
First time playing Pitlochry and it won’t be the last. Every hole was enjoyable. Views were amazing and condition of course was good. Great value for money. Will play again
2 days of golf for 3 ball intermediate and high handicap
Two days of golf, couple of longish holes and short par 3’s with par 4s. Course obviously well cared for with nice greens with some challenging runs. Approach to greens made interesting with bunker obstacles. Fairways overall quite forgiving. Great views. We enjoyed lunch in the clubhouse with staff doing their best to make us welcome despite corona restrictions. Look forward to returning.
