Greenburn Golf Club
About
Get clever at Greenburn Golf Club, which offers a challenging 18-hole combination of parkland and moorland over 6,067 yards of par-71 golf. The golf course has sat at its current spot for more than half a century, ever since its members constructed it by its Latin ethos: "Per Nostra Opera" (By Our Own Endeavors).
A round of golf at the Greenburn Golf Club kicks off atop Falla Hill, as the first hole is called, a par 4 that measures 268 yards from the white tees and requires a shot toward the right side of the fairway. The long hole is Bent Head, the course's fourth, a par 5 that comes in at 536 yards - to add to the fun (or not), the hole is uphill all the way, though it can be accomplished in three shots. Finish things off on the eponymous The Greenburn, where you'll have four strokes to clear 361 yards, which isn't easy, with out-of-bounds zones on both sides.
Greenburn Golf Club's pro shop offers various packages, including 18-hole instruction that guarantees at least five birdies or you get 10 UK pounds back.

Greenburn
Staff & members clearly appreciate their course as is kept in very nice condition. Not a difficult challenge so makes for a fun round. Greens had nice contours. Only concern was a bit much on course out of bounds for my liking as its tight enough without! The par 3s are lovely, with exception of the tenth - lets the course down that hole!
Superb Course
Course and layout superb, isn't the longest course but you need to keep it in play of the tee to score especially if the wind is up.Probably the best course in the county.
Terrible
I had booked tee off, after overnight rain I checked website to check course was open, website advised it was, I also called just in case but no answer. Upon arriving at course pro shop closed and staff member in clubhouse initially advised me course was open but another staff member then advised course was closed. I travelled 35 miles to get there. Completely unacceptable, why have a website that you do kit update!!
Fantastic course
This was my first time at greenburn, and it definitely wont be my last, what a fantastic course, whatever stage you are at in your game this course is for you. From elevated tees, blind greens to par 3's with water. I highly recommend this course.
Great deal
A little off the main roads but with the trip. Well laid out, fairways in super shape. Greens had been punched/maintained earlier and we're a bit bumpy.
Entertaining course
We played toward the end of the season so the greens had been cored and sanded in preparation for winter which made the speeds a bit hard to judge but The greens were excellent otherwise, and although the course doesn’t play very long the way it is set up is good and should provide a challenge for golfers of all abilities, i will definitely be visiting Greenburn golf club again
Great Value
After all the great sunshine we’ve had this course has been well watered and very little has been scorched. Picturesque, forgiving and well maintained golf course
Greenburn
Nice course short but narrow opening holes.
In good condition considering the weeks of dry weather we have had.
This made it more difficult kicking the ball left and right of the undulations but added to the challenge.
will return In the near future
Enjoyable course with a great variety of holes. Welcome from pro shop and clubhouse staff excellent - all friendly and helpful.
Superb Course
2nd time playing, great course, great condition, highly recommended
Tight course
The weather was good we enjoyed the course, You would need to play it a couple of times to score well, tight fairways and lots of ditches and bunkers to avoid.
Almost Ready
Great value, some really good holes with picturesque views. Course probably needs a few more weeks to improve as the weather has taken its toll on most courses and some of the greens have had new drainage.
Great Course
First time on this course but been eyeing it up for some time. Great course. Well thought out. In great condition, helpful staff. Some members on the 7th tee were more than happy to explain the lay out of the course as I wasn't quite sure where to go.
I intend to play this course again soon.

Enjoyable Course
The course had held up well considering the rain that had just fell, thought it would have been closed. However, we enjoyed our game :)
Enjoyed the four par 3 holes, all different.
Watch for the wet bits
Played with my wife on Sunday, 13th Aug. 17. Course extremely busy. But excellent pace of play took 3 hours 45 min. Foairways could be a bit soggy but fairways otherwise in good condition and greens good.
Will be back
Very surprised to get a booking for a Saturday morning, especially as I only booked it on the Friday night. Weather was perfect and so was the course. My playing partner and I visited here for the first time and we will return. Course and greens in excellent condition and the variety of each hole a good challenge of golf.
tricky little course
we played a four ball and we all thought the course was in superb condition, the greens were very good for April would definetly come back and play again as there was some hidden burns and ditches that cost us some strokes and playing it again would be able to avoid them but overall a smashing little course and for £10 was well worth it.
Great course
A great West Lothian course which for the time of year was in very good condition. The only area which let it down was the condition of the winter tee boxes which were very poor and looked like they had been there for many years and not repaired. You could not put a normal tee into the matt, which made it very difficult to play from them. If you play this course during the remaining winter period then remember to bring along the Dunlop type winter tee set.
I look forward to returning in the warmer months.
Hi Stuart, I['m really sorry that you've been messed around. I'm a member of the committee at Greenburn and having just logged into Golf Now for the first time, I'm very dissappointed at how you were messed around. I'll discuss with the officials how we can remunerate you for your inconvenience. Would something like a free 4 ball or similar work for you? Please let me know. Meanwhile, I'll discuss it and get back to you.
