Huge Improvements

Played here a few years ago and the ground (even in summer) was bog like and unplayable. Huge investment seems to have been put into the drainage system and the club should be commended for it.

It was a very wet day this time but the course held up well, the greens were fantastic, best I’ve played in a while and when there was a break in the rain we got some fantastic views.

Clubhouse area was quite posh but all the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, will definitely be back

Dream realized

To be able to play golf in Scotland was a dream come true. My wife took advantage of the spa and I enjoyed the amazing views Gleddoch has to offer. Course conditions were very wet and some areas do not drain well and there was plenty of standing water on some of the greens. There was a lot of rainfall the previous evening, but barely any during the round. If I were a local or played this course often, I would not have played, but being my 1st trip to Scotland and the chance to play, I took it. They rented me a set of clubs, which came with some balls and tees. As I stated, the views are great - River Clyde and Dumbarton - and the layout is challenging, but fair.

Nice course

Had an enjoyable round of golf at a sunny Gleddoch golf course on a Thursday afternoon in May, when the course was extremely quiet. This allowed us to get round on foot in approximately 3 hours. Course has some challenging holes and breath taking views over the River Clyde. Contours of course slightly favour those who have a slight fade on the ball.

very poor condition

such a shame. really nice setting great views but course is a mess. greens terrible. most bunkers unable to play out of. you would think with the money spent on the hotel and Spa that they could spare some for the course.
