Brechin never disappoints.

My brother and I meet up here at least once a year and always on a good Internet deal. It's not an overly long course off the yellow tees and wayward shots are often forgiven, but the fast and undulating greens are testing.
The unusual 4-part layout has a lot of character, with 11 holes situated on the other side of the A90. There are 2 par 5s, 5 par 3s (two of them over 200 yards) and 5 short par 4s with every hole different and the course offering a lot of variety in a fine setting. Very good catering facilities in a friendly and spacious clubhouse.

Great Value for money!

The Course is in great shape. Very walkable which was great since our tee off was at 7am and the club house didn't open until 8am. I would definitely recommend this course and its staff. Will return again next year when I am in Scotland.

Friendly helpful staff.
Well laid out course in excellent condition with a good variety of challenging holes that will suit everyone.
Back nine more challenging and interesting with excellent quality greens all round.
Look forward to playing again soon.

Wonderful course and great value

Friendly and welcoming staff. Course is well maintained and a good challenge. Pace of play was just right for a morning round. The backdrop of the Grampian Mountains for the back nine is stunning.

Brechin

April game cold conditions.

Pro very welcoming did mention Seniors Morning and as a single it would be slow. No other tee alternatives.

Caught first group after 4 holes and no chance of being allowed to go through.

Ended up just playing 9 holes but course tidy. Fairways springy and greens looked close to being very good.

Would return.

An ideal stop off between Aberdeen and Dundee

A nice course

Played here for the first time having passed it on several occasion when visiting Edzell. Despite th current drought the course was in good condition and the greens on the front 9 especially were excellent.
Good views of the Angus Gens during the round the only downside being the continuous traffic noise fom the A90. I guess as a member you would get used to it and it would be less intrusive

Hot weather

Return to Brechin for a round.

Nice sunny day and great to return for a round at Brechin. Course was in immaculate condition and the greens are the best i have played in Angus this year.

That said, Brechin's greens are always great.

This is brilliant value for money folks and well worth a visit.
Brechin are trying really hard, on and off the golf course and should be supported with a visit this year.

Golf in hot weather

Enjoyed my game here at Brechin the course was in very good condition and the weather was glorious. Played the firSt 6 holes myself then paired up with a member for the next 8 holes which helped course knowledge. Brechin is a decent test the only downside was if your not familiar with the course then you need to ask at certain holes where the next one is .

Fun at brechin

Super course. Course layout means you have to plot your way round . Some of the greens are very quick and sloping . Greens in regulation dosen't mean you'll come off with a par !! Good fun . Friendly staff. food good value. Will be back.
