About
This is a fairly short nine hole course has magnificent views over the Spey Valley and the river can be seen from most part of the course. There are few complications but most of the greens are fairly small and accuracy is required the holes are named after the local businesses who helped towards the cost of laying put the course. It is a hilly but not too steep course, surrounded by woodland and the trees are beginning to mature. The 'front' five holes are on fairly heavy soil while the 'back' four are on lighter, more sandy ground.

Not the easiest to find as up a very tight country lane, however , once I arrived I met the pro/starter, who was friendly and welcoming.
The course is in good condition and is testing as it’s quite long and slopes off in different directions. The tees are different front and back 9, which is good as it gives a 9 hole course a variation and makes it feel like a 18 hole course. The greens were good, apart from the 9/18th , which had a moss on the outer green, however this does not detract from a lovely course. The views are wonderful and their is a great mix of hazards, Dog legs and blind greens to test the golfer. Highlight hole is the 6/12th, Forsyths Folley , where you play across a 100 feet gorge from an elevated tee, and a sloping green, some 156 yards, it’s a test! In fact all the par 3’s are difficult.
