Founded in 1962, Torvean Golf Club was originally a nine-hole parkland layout. It was extended to a full 18 in 1981 and has been undergoing constant improvements ever since.
Torvean Golf Club, which measures 5,784 yards from the back tees, has three ponds and one of the longest par 5 holes in the north of Scotland at 565 yards. Its final trio is among the best closing stretch in the area, finishing with a par 3 demanding a tee shot over a natural pond to the green.
Recent improvements to Torvean include tee reconstruction and the addition of new greens, bunkers and a practice green in front of the clubhouse.
