Stress free golf

Fantastic little Par 3 course with holes ranging 80 to 146 yards. My playing partner and I found our Saturday afternoon really enjoyable. We both said at the end of the round how good it was to not be stressed and how much we had benefited from just using wedges and short irons for a change. Learnt a lot about my club distances aswell. Facilities are really good and the staff were friendly. Actually thinking about joining as an academy member after having such a great time here.

Very disappointed

Firstly golf now does state anywhere that this is a Par 3 only course. We turned up to be informed of this by the shop and since we had travelled through for the day decided to give it a go. The greens were in very poor condition, recently microtined but whateber was used the holes left by this eere twice the size of any ither green i have seen microtined, so much so that it could send your ball left or right as the holes were so big, a lot of the pellets taken from the green by this process had also just been left on the greens. We had a 4 ball in front and despite oy one hole exceeding 125 yards we were still waiting 10 mins on every tee. Annoyingly there is a full 18holes course next door owned by the same people so we could have been allowed to play 9 holes on that course or the option to pay more for 18.

Good Par 3 course

I left it late to book a game on the 18 hole course and we decided to play the 9 hole par 3. It’s a decent par 3; played at a relaxed pace which we played twice.

Par 3 Course

The Templar course is a par 3 course. This was not obvious when we booked it. That being said, we still enjoyed it and used the driving range afterwards to practice some longer shots.

Worst ever 9 hole course

We traveled 25 miles to play what was advertised
An 18 hole course, only to find I had evedevtally booked the 9 hole course, which at best was a pitch and putt course, even worse right along side it was a golf football course, there isn't a hole longer than 143 yards, thank goodness we didn't pay a lot of money for this, would not recommend this to my worst enemy,
