Strathmore Golf Centre - Rannaleroch Course
About
The Strathmore Golf Centre's Rannaleroch Course, designed by John Salvesen and opened in 1996, has already been described as a classic. The generous greens are great targets, but their undulations make for an unexpected challenge.
The four par 3s each present an individual challenge, ranging from 122 to 224 yards, while the fifth, a challenging par-5 hole, requires a 160-yard carry over water from the white tees. The-par-72 course measures 6,454 yards.
Strathmore has something for everyone, including the 18-hole Rannaleroch Course and the nine-hole Leitfie Links, a 10-bay covered golf range and a golf academy.

Golfing on ice
Played this course 30/12. It should never have been open. All other courses around had closed due to very dangerous conditions with ice, not this one ?
The course was in a treacherous condition and we had to come off half way round.
Great course in the summer, but avoid in the winter unless you have ice skates.
Most Enjoyable
This course is good value for money. The fairways were good and the greens plenty variation. It was in great condition and on a beautiful day what more can you ask for. The catering was excellent and staff friendly.
Great VFM
Course and clubhouse offering as good as always...it was a bit slow, as we were a 2 ball playing behind a club Texas scramble competition. Felt we should have been told before we went out, as it was painfully slow from the 4th to the end...we might have chosen to go elsewhere...at least the weather was fab for standing around !!!
Good challenging holes
Played this course a few times now but have to admit the course condition is was fantastic today.Well done to all course management staff.
Excellent venue
Throughly enjoyed our game at Strathmore, course was in very good condition. The course is suitable yet challenging for all abilities. The food in the club house was very good and service friendly
Nice course.
Tee times 7 minutes many 4 balls, was busy and slow. Advise to pick a quiet time if there is one!
Cheap golf on an excellent course
Course and greens in excellent condition even after some heavy rain 10/10 .
Strathmore
On a very windy day I took to Strathmore GC, not knowing what I would find, not the longest of courses off the yellows but a very enjoyable course with some interesting and challenging holes, the 18th at 440yds uphill par 4 comes to mind, plus I must add the 6th hole par 3 (where I had a hole in one) will always be remembered. As always in Scotland, very good value for money.
Excellent even a the most testing time
A must play in Perthshire . Course as always was well presented . Unfortunately club house facilities were closed due to current restrictions but a varied takeaway menu was on offer.
Just Fab
The pace of play was very slow and could have done with the course chasing up the groups holding others up.
Great
Played today 28th November and got to say thoroughly enjoyed it. From the friendly welcome and the ability to purchase a bacon roll and cup of tea before play.
Course was in great condition for time of year and the greenkeepers really should be commended for the quality and condition of the greens which were superb
