Arndean's signature holes are No. 5 and 6. The fifth hole, aptly named "Top of the World," is a par 4, which has no bunkers but presents a stiff test into the prevailing wind. No. 6 is a beautiful long par-3 hole, named after "The Lonesome Pine," which guards the left of the green.

The Cowden's nine holes at Muckhart Golf Club are the original nine where golf has been played for nearly 100 years at the foot of the Ochil Hills. Virtually no changes have been made to the layout during this time.

The drive has to be steered between a stream and a water hazard, and only the very longest hitters will consider taking on the burn in front of the green with their second shot.

The Naemoor Course is the latest of the three courses to be built at the Muckhart Golf Club and offers nine different challenges with no two holes running in the same direction.
