At only 4,004 yards for the full 18, Lybster Golf Club is among the shortest nine-hole golf courses in Scotland, making it popular with golfers of a range of skill levels. The longest hole is only 318 yards, with the shortest coming in at 90 yards.
The golf course dates back to the early 20^th century, when the Lybster Golf Club moved to Reisgill Burn. In 1926, it moved back to its current location, and the club was formally established.
Lybster is open to visitors, and reserving a tee time isn't necessary. The facility also includes a pro shop and clubhouse.
