Kyles of Bute Golf Club

A Moorland course with stunning views of the Kyles of Bute, Arran and loch Fyne. There are no bunkers but heather, whin and tough rough and burns present sufficient hazard. Depending on the wind, the first 110 yrd hole needs anything from a wedge to a 4 iron. Wild life abounds. Payment is by an honesty box, unless a caretaker is present. If so he will sell you balls which you will undoubtedly need.

Location: From Dunoon on B8000, arriving down to Tighnarbruaich 25 miles at the sea, go right to Kames, 1 mile; at crossroads go right to (NW) for 400 yds to the club notice.
