Kemnay Golf Club

Had a great time playing at Kemnay, we had booked it as a “Hot Deal” so the value was brilliant £15 per head to play a course of this quality is hard to beat.

The course was in great condition and the staff in the Pro-shop very helpful issuing information to us being unfamiliar with the set up. They have very professionally dealt with any COVID precautions so nothing to worry about there.

Some really good holes and it’s quite a challenge for higher handicap players but enjoyable all the same. There is a bit of a gallery at the 18th so don’t miss that green!

We didn’t use the off-course amenities but it looks fine.

Will keep an eye out for similar deals and will look forward to playing there again.

To quote the commentators on Sky Golf, "this is a course to be played from the fairway". You don't require driver at every hole - consider a 3-wood or even long iron and keep out of the birch trees. Birdies and pars if you play smart but big numbers if you get out of position! No lost balls, course in good condition for time of year, great value, nice catering, friendly staff.

nice course, nice people, just one complain: give the code for the toilet to your visitors, especially when ladies come to the course.

Thoroughly enjoyed our game at Kemnay - course in great condition - weather was good. Staff friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend this course for visitors.

Played here in April and thought course was in great shape for time of year.

Kemnay has a great layout. Challenging but fair, and suits all types of golfer.

Only small grip is that clubhouse weren't welcoming to be honest. We weren't able to eat as "Chef finishes at half 2". We asked at 2.20!

Wouldn't put me off playing here again, but just felt visitors maybe weren't given the same priority.

Played this course on a nice sunny day and the course was in very good condition. The fairways and greens were nicely manicured, with some tricky holes which needed good course management.

what a revelation, my first time playing the full 18, and it has settled in and is the premium course in the area.

Always a pleasure to play here . The course is in excellent condition and is a challenging 18 holes . Can occasionally be held up due to slow play but sure the guys and gals behind me are saying the same thing ! The staff are welcoming to non members both in the pro shop and clubhouse.

Wonderful variety of holes with a very challenging par 5 second one of the best. The 18th lets the course down to some extent but this is a minor flaw in what is a highly scenic gem in rural Aberdeenshire.
