Celebrating more than a century of great golf in the Scottish Borders, Jedburgh Golf Club is a parklands course that will delight and challenge golfers of all levels and from all parts of the globe. Having grown from a nine-hole run to an 18-hole course in 2006, Jedburgh has hosted some of the greatest Scottish golfers in history, including the legendary Colin Montgomerie.

Set amidst rolling hills and awe-inspiring scenery, Jedburgh is near the town of Dunion Hill. Gradual slopes highlight the well-manicured greens at Jedburgh, where water will come into play and accuracy is rewarded. Nonetheless, golfers of all skill levels will find Jedburgh a fair yet stern test for their games.

Originally designed by Willie Park in 1893, the course celebrated its centennial with a match between Montgomerie and club champion Calum Brown. The new nine holes were designed by Alistair Connell. The 18-hole run plays to nearly 6,000 yards from the back tees, and features holes with Scottish-inspired names like the No. 13 Cheviot View and the No. 16 Linthaughlee, a lengthy and challenging par 3.

Superb 18 Hole Course

This lovely little golf course is very well presented and offers a few risk & reward holes that really make it interesting. The signature par 4 13th really is spectacular, with views for miles from the tee and a beautifully set green, just don't be short! We were round in under 4 hours in a fourball and the staff in the clubhouse allowed us to go our earlier than booked as we were ready, and she even stayed back after hours to cook us a brilliant meal. Can't wait to come and play again, this course gets better every time I play it, and I always look forward to playing when I come up to Scotland. We didn't use buggies but there are some available, and there is the odd hill on the course, with it being set in a valley, so if you struggle with a walk I highly recommend a buggy.

Quiet, steep inclines, great views

Unable to comment on amenities or staff as honesty system applies and there was no staff or catering. Course was in good condition and well tended. Suggest that some new hire trolleys would be a good idea.
