Insch Golf brings a colorful past, incredible scenery and challenging play to the booming Scotland golf scene. Originally built before World War I, the golf course was used as a grenade range and golf disappeared from the quaint town of Insch until its triumphant return in 1982.
In 1997, Insch was transformed into an 18-hole run, and a new, modern clubhouse has helped make it one of the hidden gems in Aberdeenshire. Playing to more than 5,000 yards from the back tees with a par of 69, Insch is a parkland course where accuracy and course management are a must for players looking to mark down low scores.
Set between the peaks of Bennachie and Dunnideer, in the picturesque village of Insch - just a 40-minute drive from Aberdden - Insch Golf Club is conveniently located near such golf powerhouses as St. Andrews, Cruden Bay and Royal Dornoch.
