"The 18-hole Laird's course at Inchmarlo opened in June of 2001, built on the slopes just to the north of the existing nine-hole course. It opened to some acclaim, being recently nominated for the best new course in Britain, putting it in the top 20 new courses in the United Kingdom.
It's easy to see why. It's a parkland course, with many of the trees lying along the perimeter while the interior is relatively open. The Inchmarlo is like many courses you find in the Scottish countryside: short, but tricky." -- Tim McDonald

Inchmarlo Golf Club added to its luster in 1997, as it added the Queen's course, a delightful nine-hole run with spectacular views. It is the perfect golf course for golfers of all ages and skill levels.
Designed by golf course architect Graeme Webster, Queen's is a parkland course that features incredibly manicured fairways and greens. Burns, ponds and dykes protect the greens, meaning accuracy is a must at this nine-hole run that plays to 2,150 yards from the back tees and to a par of 32.
With none of the holes measuring more than 350 yards, Queen's is the perfect club for seniors, women and others who aren't long off the tee. Nonetheless, players will have forced carries and dangerous approach shots to keep them at the top of their game, all the while enjoying the spectacular Scottish scenery at this beautiful Banchory run.
