Hopeman Golf Club: 2nd green
This 18-hole golf course - originally laid out as nine holes - is one of the most demanding tests of golf in the north of Scotland. Gorse and broom guard most fairways, bunkers have been added and the course was recently lengthened.
No. 12 is arguably Hopeman Golf Club's signature hole. From its green nestled in the Clasbach Cove more than 100 feet below the tee, golfers are treated to sweeping views of the Moray Firth.
There's a clubhouse with a bar and dining room on site. Trolleys, golf buggies and equipment are available for rent. Visitors are welcome.
Location: A96 to Elgin. East side of village, off B9040.
