Hilton Park Golf Club - The Hilton Course
About
Hilton Park Golf Club sits just 9 miles northwest of Glasgow, near Rob Roy country, on the route toward Loch Lomond and the Trossachs.
The Hilton Course at Hilton Park Golf Club offers 18 holes over 6,045 yards, with a 70 par, and it makes you wait for the signature hole until the 17th, a par-3 that measures 184 yards, and has the apt name of Muckly Drop. You shoot from an elevated tee toward a well-bunkered green that has a burn blocking the green's front edge 200 feet below; even the best golfers have a tough time on this hole. Test the wind, always varied, to decide whether you're shooting with a nine-iron or a driver.
If you're golfing on a budget, play the Hilton Course at the Hilton Park Golf Club during the slow season from October to April, when the rates are deeply discounted.

Great Layout and Condition
Course was in great condition for the time of year. Greens were good and rolled well enough but they had been cored and top dressed recently. Layout is great and you can really feel lost in the course. Nice course, great staff and will definitely revisit.
Hidden gem
Played the Hilton and was enjoyably surprised. Good layout some tricky holes and greens, still in really good condition. all in all a good day out!
Nice course
We started with snow on thr ground but thawed after 5 or 6 holes winter greens so couldn't comment on condition of greens but would deffo like to play it in summer
Good Challenging coarse
A great day all in all, winter greens in action but still worth every penny. Good challenging coarse... will play again
Great views and nice layout
Warm welcome from staff. We were due to play on Hilton course but due to autumn maintenance we were given option to play the Allander Course. Pace of play was slow but sun was out. Would come back again
will play again
Fairways were excellent due to the time of the year and winter rules
Greens were scarified will play again in the summer
Slow play, very wet in areas nice setting friendly staff
Paid to play 18 holes I ended up only playing 13 dut the pace of play.
Far too many courses are keen to have visitors and don't manage them nor care of the standard as long as they get a fee and that was obvious from the players ahead of me.
The golf course has a great setting but lack of draineage work leaves the Hilton course desperately wet in holes 1,2,3,6,10,11,.i wouldn't rush back until the draineage is improved and a course marshal is employed
Nice course.
Very friendly welcome from the members and staff in the pro shop, who resolved a booking issue no problems at all. My second time playing this lovely course and will be back to play it again. A bit on the hilly side but a good bit of exercize and lovely views from the top.
Early season
Greens could have done with a cut but just been fertilised and some being hand watered so not a great start.
Fairways had been sacrificed ball running as the course was also dry which is good as normally it can be wet.
The course will get better with heat and growth and for the money was good value compared to some others locally..a couple of two ball ties out in front play could have been faster.as I joined up with someone and we were being held up by them.
Will play again as it gets warmer and growth appears and the course takes better shape.
Had a drink at bar when I came in bar staff friendly.
My first round of 2017
I was very impressed with the layout and condition of the course; very scenic and a good challenge. I feel like i got great value for my money. I would love to play again and would definitely recommend the course to others.
Great course
A very fun course with some beautiful holes and some real challenges. The course is kept in great condition with the greens very true.
Great course
First time playing this course and I will definitely be back.pro was friendly and gave some advice about course.fairways are tree lined but wide. A bit soft underfoot but to be expected this early in the season.5 stars
