Hawick Golf Club

The Hawick Golf Club has been in existence since 1873. The club is private with the course rented from Scottish Borders council, but maintained by the club. The Clubhouse was extensively refurbished in 1996 and is now very comfortable with attractive dining rooms and lounges as well. Visitors facilities include showers etc. Bar and restaurant facilities are available throughout the season. Visitors are welcome check availability.

Winding hillside course with most holes providing spectacular views of the Border Hills. A number of long par 4's and tricky bunkered par 3's make it a good test of golf. A tough start with the first and second holes alongside a road (out of bounds) means that accuracy is vital.

Location: From north, A7 through town. Pass horse monument on left, proceed along Main Street. Turn left just before roundabout, continue uphill then down to course. From south, A7 to roundabout then turn sharp right up hill.
