Although this course is half a mile from shore, it is still bedeviled by stiff winds. Heather lines the fairways, and when it blooms in midsummer the penalty for a less than accurate shot is all but certain.

Location: One mile south of Irvine off A78

great test of golf as it rewards good accurate driving.Although there are several short par fours one still has to strike the ball in the correct position orf the tee.great venue for an outing as it is fair to all handicaps.
greens were excellent and a joy to stroke the ball on.
