The challenging Gatehouse of Fleet Golf Club is one of the most scenic and well-maintained golf courses in southwest Scotland. The ninth hole is listed in Britain's 100 Extraordinary Golf Holes.
The nine-hole layout is a parkland course with a stunning backdrop. Accuracy is very important in places as wayward shots can end up in the thick gorse.
Gatehouse of Fleet is located in the middle of a national scenic area on the edge of the Galloway Forest Park in the rural heart of Dumfries and Galloway.
Location: Quarter of a mile north of town.
