Falkirk Golf Club
About
Known locally as "Carmuirs," Falkirk Golf Club is a parkland layout with slight undulation. It's a 6,230-yard par-71 course from the back tees.
Falkirk will undergo a significant renovation in the coming years. David J. Russell, a PGA Professional and golf course architect, has made several recommendations on improving the layout that will be incorporated into the course.
New practice facilities have also been added: four practice bays, a practice putting green and "short game" area for pitching and bunker play. A fully-stocked pro shop is on site, managed by resident professional Stewart Craig.

Nice course in good condition
Haven't played here for over 20yrs and worth the discounted rates and in good condition considering the weather and time of year.
Disappointed to be informed on arrival the first 4 holes were out of play due to tree cutting (never saw any work going on but explains the cheap rate) so first tee was the 5th but the starter kindly let us play the 5th-8th again after coming off the 18th to make up our card.
Lot of variety in layout, good mix of long/short and blind holes, quite busy for time of year and bit wet in places but overall would recommend and like to return.
Very impressed
Course was in great condition for this time of year especially the green which I thought were really good and the tees also were in great shape.
Credit to the greenstaff and members for looking after the course
Good day out
Coarse was really wet and greens were scarified and sanded but still rolled well. good test of golf. Only off put was a long walk up a steep hill between 5th green and 6th tee.
Every green was being scarified & was covered in sand
Course should have been closed and Golf Club should not have been taking Green Fees from visitors as every green was covered in sand spoiled our round
Excellent course
Always enjoy playing at Falkirk and today was no different. Felt the course was in excellent condition especially when you take into consideration the amount of rain we have had in this area recently!
Always made to feel welcome and will defo be back
Great feature holes
Good layout great variation of holes only down side had to cross busy road to get to course and facilities not opened for coffee or a pint
Great Course
Course was great. Greens as good as I’ve played all year. Don’t understand why the clubhouse and toilets are closed when every other course I’ve been to lately is open with restrictions.
This is great to be played in my first time,,love to play again,,
Nice golf course
First time playing Falkirk GC, friendly staff and a nice course layout with views of the Falkirk wheel. The course isn’t overly long with the par 5’s being reachable in 2 which made it enjoyable for me.
Falkirk Golf Course
Nice welcome in Pro shop. I was early and happily encouraged just to go. Course seemed fairly quiet, although tee sheet said most times were booked. 3 hours to go around. The course is well laid out and in great condition. Greens fast and true. Many holes make you think. The only negative there are no spectacular views, but that point of view is based on the views from courses played over the previous few days. However, really good value and well worth a visit.
Excellent Value
Played on a Sunday morning in a 2 ball in 3 hours so really quick. Helpful starter. Very enjoyable course in good condition, not a long course but not easy. Good variety of holes. £25 to £30 is good value for a weekend round.
