East Kilbride Golf Club
About
East Kilbride Golf Club playing as a Par 71 is a tough test of golf a parkland course with lots of trees it can be a tough track when the wind blows, and it usually blows. The greens are quite large and are usually in excellent condition. The fairways are generous and plush. Toughest par 3 is number 10 playing at around 200 yds and depending on the wind can be anywhere from a Driver to a 8 iron. #10 green is guarded by bunkers on the left and right. Toughest par 4 #11 from the back tees #11 plays close to 400 yds it is a severe dog leg left with the fairway sloping at a 45 degree angle to the right there are two large trees that guards the dogleg on either side of the fairway. Toughest par 5 # 13 Playing close to 550 from the back tees #13 is uphill usually in to the wind there is a dogleg to the right at around 100 yards from the green this dogleg is protected by trees to the right and a bunker on either side the green is raised and so the pin position is tough to judge. East Kilbride is a good test of golf and I recommend it score out of 10 is 8.

Luck day
Turned up on Saturday waiting for the rain (as promised)
But it was a very calm late afternoon, found the front 9 a doddle, defo easiest 9 (without wind) back 9 apart from the short par 4 , think it was 15th ??
But I bogeyed it anyway
I play of of 9hdc but I could see carnage at any hole with wind, it’s a tree lined course, but if the wind was up I d fancy a higher score
But I’ll play it again soon
Great value for money And I left a few out there, but don’t we all ???
Friendly staff too
Dry underfoot
Really enjoyed playing this course. It has a couple of memorable holes. Quite a challenge.
Idiotic
Travelled 39 miles to play this course having pre booked through the app for 1pm...only to find that the course was closed and had been all day! The pro looked at me blankly and said "these things happen". What? So when the decision is made that the course is closed in the morning nobody has the capability or initiative to send a quick message or make a quick call to Golf Now letting them know that no more bookings should be allowed that day?! Pure ignorance, waste of time, shambles, idiotic.
Great Course
Quality course,
Excellent condition and a joy to play!
Excellent Course
The course was absolutely brilliant, well kept and looked after. I will be playing here again! Good golf, good food and excellent value for money. Very impressed
Great course.
Excellent course to play, nice wide tree-lined fairways but still difficult enough to catch you out. Good mixture of challenging and easier holes. Both members and staff friendly and superb facilities off the course. Definitely play it again.
Very good.
I really liked this course. Unfortunately the weather was awful but the course was holding up well in the rain. The greens were in good condition; a wee bit hairy in places & slower than I'm used to; that said it had been raining for a good few days before I went so were probably due a cut.
Would love to return & play in better weather.
Staff were great, made us feel very welcome; club house & facilities superb.
Pleasantly challenging course
I was a singleton and was introduced to a group of golfers who play regularly together & played my round with 2 of them.
The course is quite undulating with some blind shots. Playing with locals was very useful as a result. I found the greens quite challenging, with some quite subtle borrows.
Overall, the course was in good shape and with the visit.
The company was very good and had some nice food post round.
Great course
After a week of heavy rain, the course was surprisingly dry.
Relatively easy course , meaning if you hit bad drives, the ball is easily to find.
All in all a very good course
Great condition, good facilities
Greens immaculate and course in very good condition. Nice bar and changing areas. Didn't get to try any food, but good selection and reasonably priced
Best morning of the summer
Sun was shining and the course was in excellent condition. Had a thoroughly enjoyable round of golf. Great chance of scoring well, but I unfortunately missed my chances.
