Dunblane New Golf Club
About
Cecil Hutchison and James Braid designed Dunblane New Golf Club. It features excellently manicured greens and splendid vistas in every direction. Measuring nearly 6,000 yards from the back tees, Dunblane is a par 69 golf course. The fifth hole, Panorama, is a delight, with wonderful views of the mountains to the northwest.
The facility also includes a modern, friendly clubhouse.

Great ciurse
Well worth a visit. Fabulous course in great condition
Most enjoyable
Great course.
Very hilly and in good condition.
The greens had tricky slopes and with 6 par 3 holes, some on plateaux, this made for an exciting game!
Clubhouse staff were very helpful and despite COVID restrictions, there was a full and exciting menu choice.
Gem of a course
I arrived at the course and was met by a friendly and welcoming Pro and friendly local golfers.
The course is undulating and quite steep in places, but this gives a vigorous workout to what can only be described as an absolute little cracker of a course. The green staff should be commended for the way the course is presented
The tee boxes and fairways were excellent and the greens were lightening fast and true. The views from around the course were magnificent.
A thoroughly enjoyable course to play on a good weather day and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.
Top class
Rolling tree lined fairways with superb fast greens. Played the course last year and always wanted to go back so I did and was not disappointed.
Joined a couple of members who were very welcoming and gave good advice.
I live in Glasgow and on a sunny day will happily pop up to Dunblane.
Pleasant course
We enjoyed playing the course and it was in good condition despite the heavy rain the day before . There was some work getting done on the course but it didn’t spoil our round . Only disappointment was the change of course to a winter route which we hadn’t been told about and it was somewhat confusing as holes were played in a different order
Excellent Course
An excellent golf course, condition of the course was fantastic a definite 10/10 to the green keepers for the condition of the course especially the quality of the greens and keeping them in such excellent condition throughout the recent dry spell we have had. This course provides some of the best par 3 holes I have played. This has got to be up there as one of the best courses played this year and would recommend anyone to play here.
Staff... 10/10
Condition 10/10
Whole experience 10/10
Well worth a visit.
Had a great day here. Greens were superb and it’s a beautiful setting. Food in the clubhouse was superb. Only fault would be the showers which were terrible.
DUNBLANE NEW

11/10
This course has EVERYTHING, superb fairways and greens. Beautiful views, friendly members and Pro. Great food served quickly. If I lived in the area, I would join.
Nice course
friendly staff. nice condition. some lovely holes. but for me. too many raised greens and blind tee shots. but def worth a visit.
overall positive experience & would book again.
friendly welcome from pro shop staff.
nice course - well maintained.
course quite hilly in places.
some very challenging holes for high handicap players.
great panoramic views if score isn't going well!
Beautiful course
Every hole is different, greens are fast, good views, friendly staff. Great place to play!
Dunblane course review.
Played this on my last day of holidays. Having lived within 7 miles of this course for over twenty years I realise it's been a mistake never to have played this course.
Good layout for a parkland course, varied holes of differing complexities, well maintained throughout. Never used the facilities so left that as a 3 star review.
Will defo be back.
You won't be disappointed!
I'd played this course before with my partner in a Mixed Foursomes competition and we were keen to play it again. We were definitely not disappointed. The course is interesting enough for players at all levels.
The members and staff seemed very friendly, although we didn't use any of the off course facilities.
Excellent Course, Great Club House, Nice Welcome
Well equipped pro shop with friendly, attentive staff. This is a lovely course, maintained to a high standard with lovely views over Dunblane and the Ochil Hills. Well laid out, not long but a suitable test for all levels of golfer. The par 3's are all outstanding! A great days golf was completed with a delicious steak pie in the clubhouse. This is the first time I have visited Dunblane New Golf Club, but it won't be the last!
!st Opportunity.
!st cahnce to play this course and I must admit it is one we will definately go back to and recommend to others we got the perfect all round package, weather great course in good condition despite recent weather in the past few weeks staff were informative culminating in the obligitary steak pie and chips, its local to where we both stay - younger brother - and it was easy to find requiring no directions required so no lost time.
the course has one or two quirks that added to the challenge and the views of the Ochils and the Cairngorms was stunning, PLAY it we will be back.
Good value golf course
Played the course twice whilst on a golf week in area. Couse is in decent condition for the time of year and represented a good challenge. Holes were not too long and well thought out. Couple of blind drives on downhill slopes which required careful watching. Pro was friendly and club house very pleasant. Non golfing tip - try Tillys café for coffee and cake in Dunblane near cathedral (fantastic food)
