Cruden Bay Golf Course creates unique challenges, demanding the skills of power, placement and fine judgment. The golf course is set against a backdrop of subtly contoured greens and panoramic views.

Designed by Old Tom Morris and opened in 1899, Cruden Bay was redesigned to the current layout by Tom Simpson and Herbert Fowler in 1926. The golf course offers an internationally famous golfing experience, old-fashioned links golf at its best. Golf Magazine has ranked it No. 52 in the world.

Some say this course is too much of a roller coaster. Bunk! Golf is a game and is supposed to be fun .... and Cruden Bay is a hell of a lot of fun. Not to mention the views. There are vistas here as picturesque as on any links course in Scotland. Club members and staff never tire of telling about how my Tom Watson enjoys this course. It's easy to see why. If you're near Aberdeen, do NOT miss the chance to take the short drive up the coast to Cruden Bay and play this gem.
