If it Rains, dont bother

I've played this course a few times hoping it gets better as Im local to it.

To be honest, could be good with proper drainage. Could be, but isnt. That simple.

Good day

Inspite of bad weather, course played well with some patchy flooding after constant rain. Overall course was in good condition although there were some poor areas between greens and next tees which looked like it needed some work. Staff extremely friendly and well worth a visit.

Good for big hitters

Few par 4s that could be hit from the tee by big hitters.

Enjoyable

Course was very nice. We are blessed in central Scotland to have so many nice courses within a 15 minute drive.

Had never played here before but will certainly go again. Course was in great condition. Greens were super fast.

Challaning wee course though..couple of par 4s that you can drive if you can use a driver!

Disappointed

Played today. Course was sodden even though there hadn't been too much rain. Puddles in the middle of the fairway more like a water feature. No sand in the bunkers was more like grit. Walked off after 11 as was not enjoying it

Crow Wood :)

Enjoyed my first time around this course - Had heard some good things about it in the past and had a great time playing it this week.
Another reviewer has described it as being heavy underfoot, and that is the case due to the nature of their subsoil, and it shows in the quality of the fairway and rough grasses. Still a nice layout with some good holes. Best played after a dry spell for sure.
Greens were in great condition!
I did not take advantage of the facilities after the round, so can't comment on them. Wish a yardage book had been available though as it does help you pick your lines and what clubs to hit, etc.

Great layout but very heavy underfoot

This is a good and interesting layout with a variety of holes offering different challenges. Unfortunately, it was spoiled by very wet and heavy conditions underfoot, which was surprising for mid-June. The greens putted nicely though.
