One of Scotland's newer links courses, Craigielaw Golf Club, opened in 2001. Craigielaw plays farther inland than historic Kilspindie Golf Club next door, but is still links style, and the Firth of Forth is always in view. The course is especially penal around the many crowned greens, surrounded by steep pot bunkers and collection areas.
