The Craigentinny Golf Club offers a view of Arthur's Seat and the Calton Hill monuments as just one of the draws of the 18-hole par-67 course. A nifty hodgepodge of holes is another draw of the undulating parkland course, which requires both brains for puzzling lpar-3s and brawn for the longer -4s. Overall, the golf course amounts to 5,511 yards and suits all levels.
Well-maintained greens at the Craigentinny Golf Club are guarded by some tricky bunkers, which require a lot of thinking ahead - and even more accuracy - to hit par.
For example, the Craigentinny Golf Club's dogleg 414-yard par-4 10th hole demands a long tee shot to get past the trees, but then a second shot just as long to make the green.

It's not long but it's a great test for all golfers!
The first 8 holes are really quite easy providing you hit the ball straight but, holes 9 to 18 provide a real test for any golfer of any standard.
The greens are quite small compared to many but hold the ball well thanks to their very good condition for an Edinburgh Leisure course...
The ONLY downfall is the ignorant greenkeeping staff who just work away regardless of how close to the green you are!
