Playing to 1,533 yards and a par of 36 for the 12 holes, it may be a short layout, but the golf is truly memorable, as is the scenery.

Moved up here in September '14 and decided to give it a try with my 2 Sons in Law. As I have a troublesome back, we decided that 9 holes would be enough so this course seemed to fit the bill. What a surprise. Although we played in spring ,15, the course was in surprisingly good condition. Some really interesting holes, and spectacular views. Staff are very welcoming and they don't even insist on proper golf shoes." Just come as you are" I was told. There are other courses around here but I think I,m likely to be a regular at Covesea.

This is a fantastic little course, really fun and interesting. I'm a high handicapper and found it really good for practising acurate iron shots with some challenging holes including lots of vertical changes! Of note, it is no longer a Par 3 course, there are 4 Par 4 holes so it may appeal to a wider audience.
Nonetheless, a great time had and top little cafe to boot, the beach is right there for spectating families to be occupied - the very nice people in the cafe gave my little 2 year-old his own club and ball to play along!!

This must be the THE most hidden gem of them all. Its so hidden that even the locals don't know it's there. Fantastic piece of links land and great to see that they have laid out some traditional quirky links holes which is a rarity in this day and age. The greens need some attention but it was great fun to play.
