Castle Douglas Golf Club
One very steep hill is the predominant feature of this challenging and attractive 9-hole parkland course, located on the outskirts of Castle Douglas. Established in 1904, Castle Douglas Golf Club is situated in one of Scotland's most popular and treasured golfing locations. Located just one-half mile from the center of the town, the golf course has some very interesting holes, particularly the third, with its plateau green. The course, redesigned in 2006, provides a good test of golf for golfers of all abilities.
Location: 400 yards from town centre on A713 to Ayr.
