Great course for the beginner
Played the “Wee Devil” with my partner who has just started playing golf and found it a very pleasant course.
Joyce
Enjoyed our game as usual tho I do think that people renting the lodges tend to just “appear” & don’t go thru the booking system so often a bit rushed. Otherwise love the course.
Busy and Slow
I do like this little 9 hole course, but it's always busy and the pace of play is so slow. There are a number of par 3's which causes more congestion waiting for the group to clear the green, then once you play that hole and get to the next tee, the group in front is only just teeing off, and you are held up again. If you are playing 18 holes, once you have played 9 holes and start again on the 1st you can't just continue, you have to queue up with all those about to tee off, which can be quite a wait. When the course takes bookings they don't appear to plan for those playing 18 holes and just let people book up all the tee times, instead of holding some tee times for those coming round again, leaving you with a long wait to play 10 to 18, not good.
Lovely course!
Played here for the second time the other day and absolutely love it. Has some excellent par 3's and few tricky par 4's. Great course to play when the weather is perfect.
If you're after a bit of lunch after your game pop next door to the duck bay, it's a lot cheaper and nicer.
Lovely 9 hole layout.
Good course with excellent views. Very tricky course and a good test for low and high handicap golfers. Course was in good condition despite the constant rain this summer.
Would definitely return to play it again and would certainly recommend it to friends.
Good course and will return
Played this course for the first rime and whilst 9 holes, has a good selection of Par4s and tricky Par3s.
Only criticism was greens could be slightly better but had been very wet the days previously.
Not very busy so rattled round but definitely worth a visit in a beautifull location.
Peaceful course, difficult greens
Really nice and peaceful course.
A bit disappointed there were no par 5s but nonetheless, definetely worth a visit. Some really nice views and a good course to practice your short game.
The greens will make or break your game. Small greens with lots of slopes. Try not to over putt or you'll be chipping back on lol.
The wee demon
Brilliant day booked last minute well worth the fee and will be back.
