DUNFERMLINE, SCOTLAND (Nov. 11, 2003) -- Scotland Tours, in direct response to the number of inquiries from TravelGolf.com publications, has introduced a series of tours for 2004 catering to groups of four or less. These new, robust tours will allow like-minded golfers and their non-golfing partners to travel together and enjoy great golf at many of the excellent courses around Scotland.
"These
unique tours open the opportunity to play with different players
and of course, the group will have the luxury of having their
own coach and driver throughout the vacation," said Ronnie Pook
of Scotland
Tours.
"That also means the non golfers will have a driver to take them to places of interest when the golfers are on the links, so we expect this to appeal to a variety of groups. Of course it will also appeal to those who are reluctant to take a self-drive package. Having your own driver eliminates the anxiety of driving in an unfamiliar country. These tours are a stark departure from your regular 'coach' tour."
Ronnie
Pook added that the tours are created primarily for the avid golfer.
However, the addition of a personal driver will allow for other
sightseeing opportunities during the tour.
Scotland Tours will continue to provide customized vacations for those who prefer to travel independently with their own group and have their own itinerary arranged. They have been arranging high quality customized tours since they started in 1997 and expect these to grow as more TravelGolf.com clients realize how successful and enjoyable these tours are.
